The Data Protection ActIn accordance with the Data Protection Act, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. We will only use your information for the purpose as described and we do not pass on your details to any third party.
Site and Mobile App usageWe do use cookies, tracking IDs and log files to collect user information both anonymously and individually. The data we gather includes information that is used by academic and administrative members of staff to track the progress of individual students in line with expectations of students and the student contract, all other data however is collected anonymously. We use anonymous data to examine the effectiveness of our service.
If you post information, data or files to our websites or mobile app we will only use it for the purpose in which it was intended. Posts to the VLE may be used for assessment and/or calculating engagement of students. Photographs submitted are only ever used for identification purposes. No information is passed to third parties outside of the requirements of the student or employment contract without explicit consent.

SecurityThis site has security measures in place to protect the loss and alteration of information under the University's control.
Changes to the policyIf the privacy policy changes in any way, we will place an updated version on this page. Regularly reviewing the page ensures you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances, if any, we will share it with other parties.
